Paradise, 2012

Ioned of plastic bags
Dimensions: 700 x 350 cm

Paradise is an exhibition and exploration of the drives that lead us to the discovery of our body. It was about the intuition, playfulness and strangeness that accompany our contact with flesh. For that I make a series of vídeos, and interventions on the images, inspired in “Story of the eye” of Georges Bataille. The scenes were actions using the body and different elements from nature.

The videos where display in the space among two installations. For the installation work I made two membranes of different pieces of plastic and display them vertically with interior lighting. There was a contrast between the inorganic materials and media and the organic contents.
